Ride of Silence

  • Sixth Street Bridge Park (map)

The RIde of Silence is a silent slow-paced ride (max. 12 mph/20kph) in honor of those who have been injured or killed while cycling on public roadways.

If you'll be joining the Ride of Silence, rent bikes for $5/off using code SILENCE. Be sure to arrive early to pick up the rental so you have time to get down to Sixth Street Bridge park! (about 2.5 miles from bike pickup)

Route: Pick up bikes. Ride south on Plainfield towards downtown, largely in bike lanes. Continue past Leonard Street to first flashing yellow, which is Coldbrook. Turn right on Coldbrook, follow past light and to left as road becomes Monroe. Proceed south towards downtown past the light (Newberry St./Sixth St.). Park is on the right. This is an evening ride so make sure to use the lights! (Included at no cost with rental)
